高等法院合議庭法官名單抽籤出爐時，心中曾經燃起對司法的一絲希望。因為，根據媒體報導，審判長鄧振球在過去民間司改會的法官評鑑中，信賴度高居第二名（第一名是黃瑞華、第三名是周占春），同時，在去年十一月被特偵組聲押後，阿扁總統曾經提出抗告，當時高分院合議庭裁定抗告成功，而鄧振球即是陪席法官，顯示鄧法官對扁案的內情應不陌生，並且，他長期被評價為「人權法官」。"
